About the Role

We are looking to hire an Engineering Manager for the Machine Learning Platform team at CrowdStrike. The Machine Learning Platform team operates within the Data Science organization, and provides the necessary infrastructure and services for internal users to leverage Machine Learning products. This team has one of the most critical roles to play in ensuring our products are best-in-class in the industry. You will interact with product managers, data scientist, and other engineers in building out our machine learning platform.

What You'll Need:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience managing a team of 5 engineers or more.
• Be involved with design reviews, code reviews and processes to ensure good product rollouts.
• Engage with engineers in periodic 1:1s to be involved in their career growth.
• Be the champion/spokesperson of the team and the primary interface with management and product/program managers.
• Ability to handle multiple project timelines/deadlines.
• Good knowledge of some (or all) of AWS, Python, Airflow, Docker, K8s, Snowflake, etc. to build infrastructure that can ingest and analyze billions of events per day.
• Good knowledge of distributed system design and associated tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with Docker-based development and orchestration.

Bonus points if you have

• Created automated / scalable infrastructure and pipelines for teams in the past.
• Contributed to the open-source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
• Prior experience with building machine learning pipelines/platforms, Relational DBs, Distributed computing, or KV Stores.
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields
